Ellery is interested in combining her background in environmental remediation with flood modeling to better understand how land use, water quality, and flood risk interact. She hopes to gain further experience using modeling software, such as HEC-HMS and 1D/2D HEC-RAS, to address flood mitigation strategies and their environmental impacts.
